Nothing better than a banana!

Bananas are considered the perfect snack by many as they are an excellent source of vitamin B6, soluble fiber, and contain moderate amounts of vitamin C, manganese and potassium. Here’s a selection of some of the health benefits of eating bananas regularly:

  • Excellent source of fibre: bananas contain pectin, a soluble fiber, so they aid in the elimination process, helping prevent constipation.
  • Energy snack: bananas contain high potassium, some sugar, and have a low glycaemic index, making them an energy-supplying electrolyte.
